"Patience is key for results, but there is only true worth in having patience when you truly are working for it" So 4weeks ago (pic on the left - 96.3kg) I was bulky but predominately had too much fat surrounding the muscle which just made me look fully out of shape. It was at that point I started thinking hard on what I want to do in life and if you know me, you'll know I'm genuinely into exercise & health, but I was also just too laid back and chilled, ate what I wanted whenever, and trained inconsistently. And due to not really applying self-development with it, I lost my way and so I decided I wanted to change and improve my situation. 4weeks later brings us today (pic on the right - 92.6kg) and I must say I am surprised at myself. For the first time I'm actually being very disciplined & consistent with my diet, training 5 days a week, feeling much stronger and much more motivated to just get myself sorted, physically, financially & mentally. So yeah this is me 4weeks into solid training & diet and the results don't lie, still got another 6 to go, will I struggle?? YES... but I'll hold myself accountable to myself & anyone who sees this and say I WILL not stop. Whatever you're doing, give it 100% 👌 have a blessed weekend people 👊 Shoutout to @swenchofficial for this 10week challenge #shreddedzone #swenchgang #fitness #fitlife #aesthetics #bodytransformation #fitfam #inmyzone #underconstruction #bodybuilding #motivation #shredded #gymlife #justdoit #instafit #ironaddict #gohard #diet #exercise #health #wellbeing #traininsane #watchthisspace #instagood #muscle #progress

Comment from Coach Ted Sloan:

This is coming from a highly respected doctor and orthopedist. Most doctors are specialists or incentivized by the pharmaceutical industry. Some, especially functional health practitioners, have studied more, but if you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail. An orthopedist is trained to perform surgery or give injections, what do you think they’re going to want to do, even if there are significantly better options? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you have pain, find a great Coach, Functional Health Practitioner, or CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach to work on your nutrition, inflammation and strength, so that your body can naturally heal itself, rather than deal with the negative effects of cortisone injections, or experience the pain and rehabilitation necessary from an unnecessary surgery!

Comment from Lindsay Vose:

The reality of autoimmune disease. The increased inflammation caused multiple Baker’s cysts to form in the back of my knee over the years, rendering me unable to run or bike. The cysts fill with fluid when I increase my heart rate, put stress in my knees, eat some food I’m allergic to, or sometimes for no freaking reason. ☠️☠️☠️😒😒😒 Today I rode the bike for 10 min and the result? Swollen knee, nerve compression, and muscle spasm. Doctors won’t remove the cysts bc they will just form again. 😑 The solution? None thus far. So my first day free of belly pain was quickly interrupted by knee pain. BUT I am determined to not let the rest of the day be ruined. Being strong is sometimes all we have to hold onto 💪🏽
