Weekly meal plan! The next 2 weeks are going to be rough.. and after my big loss last week I’d be happy just to maintain that until after the holidays! Tomorrow is a Work birthday party lunch - with all my favorite snacky foods. Then Friday is Christmas with my family, Saturday is Christmas with Josh’s brother and Monday is Christmas with the rest of Josh’s family. I just want to enjoy Hazel’s first Christmas without obsessing over every little point. His and hers birthday dinner at our local BBQ restaurant. I have to say they make an amazing homemade black bean burger which I always order on the Cobb salad (without chicken or bacon). It's so yummy. Hubs got the philly pot beef sandwich which he said would be his choice in last meals.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a weight check in. Between preparing to go back to work and getting ready for the holidays life has been pretty busy. As I get closer to goal, I’ve been finding that my weight has plateaued. A few reasons: 1. Trying to lose weight during this time of year is challenging. For instance, I celebrate chanukkah, a holiday where one must remember the struggles of the Maccabees by eating donuts and fried potatoes. 🙄 2. Gym time-finding the time, being in the mood (when it’s cold out, Netflix pjs and chill are way more appealing) and taking your workouts to the next level. In spite of these few challenges, I still went to my @weightwatchers meeting today. Edgar and Andrea from @e_u_fitness introduced zumba to some of the members and then I went to their Christmas Zumba party. The combination of my meetings and Zumba classes help me get on track and stay on track. I still managed to lose weight but my goal this week is to keep tracking this week no matter what and to get to the gym at least 5x a week. Today's weigh-in (maintenance week 1): + 2.6 lbs. Though the gain was unfortunate, I definitely learned an important lesson this week: just because you've reached your goal weight and are supposed to be maintaining doesn't mean you go crazy and eat everything in sight! 😂 When I was told that maintenance was the hardest part of your WW journey, I didn't believe it. Now I do. And I'll be making changes this week to get back on track. 🤞

Just keeping it real, guys! I hosted Hanukkah dinner at my house on Tuesday and we are still eating our way through leftovers. Tomorrow is hubby's birthday so it feels like this weekend will be somewhat of a wash. First week on @weightwatchers #wwfreestyle was a HUGE success!! I still can’t believe it. I may of weighed myself 2 or 3 (or 12) times. Y’all, this by itself is such a #NSV because I tried to talk Josh into going to get us Steak ‘n Shake instead of me cooking 😜 BUT he reminded me that tomorrow is my weigh in day.. I’ve worked too hard this week to go have a greasy sack supper.. and tomorrow we will be out of town shopping all day so we will most likely have 2 meals out. So tomorrow I may have some Steak ‘n Shake but for tonight it’s what was on the menu! Grilled cheese with Canadian bacon and hash browns! 14sp total. Today's delicious 10 sp breakfast to mark only a week until Christmas holidays! 🎄🎁 I used 53 grams Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate pancake mix (6 sp), some water, a few tablespoons of egg whites to bulk it up (0 sp), then topped with blackberries (0 sp), 1 tbsp. pure Canadian maple syrup (3 sp) and 2.5 tbsp. of PB2 (1 sp). 🥞 So. Good. 😍

I think once a week (or twice 🤭)we should have a cereal/lean Cusine/sandwich night. I get so tired of coming straight home and cooking and cleaning and blah blah. I haven't been feeling great the last couple days. My eating has been inconsistent pretty much just having what I could stomach at the time. Despite the fact that I didn't eat a ton I didn't make the best choices and I didn't track. Now that I'm feeling better and the weekend is coming up my first thought was to just stay off plan for the weekend and get back on track on weigh in day. Delaying it to next week is just going to do more damage! My weigh in is just on Tuesday who knows I might even see a loss by that time. Boiling some eggs for breakfast, taking some 2sp chili out of the freezer and packing my lunch box with healthy snacks for tomorrow.
