The weather seems to have changed drastically, overnight. Start having one litre of ORS/Enerzal/Electral every day. And sip it through the day for your body to retain maximum. Also, would be great if you have 1-2 tender coconut water every day. All this is over and above your regular hydration on a daily basis. Lessen your protein intake. And increase your carb intake by 15-20 percent every day. Sleep well. An extra hour or two every night would be great. You may not sleep well a night before the race - it’s normal. Race anxiety does set in. Get a massage if you’re used to getting one. Pull out your race gear - I hope it’s tried and tested. And I do hope it’s @adidas 😀And NOT new. Nothing new please. Avoid eating outside food now. Home cooked, simple food is ideal. Make sure you stop by the Runners Delhi zone @adidasrunnersin at the Expo. There’s Gait Analysis, lots of trial options and your chance to get an invite to the special race day zone. Lastly, race it. Ace it.
